The proposals combine 1950s estate retrofit with sensitively designed new homes, using development value to help fund upgrades to existing residents’ homes and deliver a significant uplift in affordable housing - at least 50% of the net additional homes will be offered at discounted rents, supporting local affordability.

The retention and retrofit of 70% of the existing homes also underpins the project’s environmental sustainability – saving c.20% embodied carbon versus full redevelopment. 

Alongside new and refurbished homes, the scheme prioritises safer, greener shared spaces, improved security, and better day-to-day amenities for residents.
