Projects
Our work is a mix of development projects and advisory roles. In all instances we are working with partners who are committed to long term outcomes for the benefit of society.
Stories brings a breadth of experience across most use classes. We are currently delivering mixed-use projects that include residential, workplace, retail, education and healthcare uses.
We work with public, private and third sector organisations and we like to visit our projects regularly, so we tend to restrict ourselves to locations within 90 minutes of London and Bristol. We have a great pipeline of work but are always on the lookout for new projects and partners, so don't hesitate to say hello.

The Crown Estate
A wide-ranging role within the London team supporting on both the strategy and the delivery of development, placemaking and meanwhile projects across iconic central London, including Piccadilly Circus, Regent St and Haymarket. Stories has also supported the Regional team on projects in Cambridge Business Park.

Broadmarsh Shopping Centre, Nottingham
A once in a generation opportunity to reimagine Nottingham’s city centre, Stories advised Nottingham City Council on the optimal delivery model and vision for redevelopment of the Broadmarsh shopping centre, working alongside Heatherwick Studio. The vision seeks to retain a proportion of the demolished shopping centre frame as part of a wider masterplan that will generate new parks, 6,000 new jobs, more than 750 new homes and over 400,000 sq ft of commercial space.

SE England NHS Foundation Trust
Stories is providing Strategic Development Management services to a large NHS Trust in the south east of England. The Trust is looking to pursue an innovative release of surface car parking to deliver a vision for a new neighbourhood comprising some 700 key worker homes and supporting amenities, in order to improve staff retention and recruitment. Stories is providing expert support to the Trust and its partners to understand the opportunity and to prepare for a partnership with an aligned developer.

Feltham Town Centre
We are working with the London Borough of Hounslow on their asset portfolio within Feltham to produce an aspirational, commercially-grounded delivery plan for the community assets within the town centre, supported by extensive stakeholder engagement and consultation. The delivery plan will enable decisions to be made on town centre development that ensure positive social, community and environmental outcomes for the people of Feltham.

Walworth Estate, Southwark
Stories advised Dorrington on a long-term strategy and vision for the 600-home Walworth Estate, built in the 1900s by social housing reformer Octavia Hill. Our role involved a detailed review of the estate's performance, developing a vision and strategic objectives, and outlining a long term delivery plan.

Stories supported Legal and General to establish the £4bn joint venture with Oxford University that is now delivering projects including the Life and Mind building and Begbroke Innovation District.
