My interest in the built environment started at a young age when my parents took on a major renovation of our family home while we were still living in it. Watching the transformation unfold day by day sparked a fascination with how buildings are designed and constructed, and ultimately led me to study architecture. That education nurtured an already curious mindset and fuelled a passion for exploring the world, experiencing different cities and understanding how people interact with the places around them.

After qualifying as an architect, I worked in both Ireland and New York across a diverse range of projects, from large-scale residential masterplans and mixed-use developments to high-end retail and workplace interiors. Working across different sectors, scales and cultures taught me to approach every challenge with curiosity, balancing design ambition with practical delivery. After moving to the UK, I became increasingly drawn to housing. Given how much of our lives are spent at home, I was fascinated by the opportunity to create places where people could genuinely thrive. At Fuse and GT, I worked on a range of residential projects, from large Build to Rent developments to smaller affordable housing schemes. Through these projects, I became increasingly interested in the wider development process and how design, planning, finance, procurement and delivery all need to align to turn something from a kernel of an idea into reality.

That curiosity ultimately led me from architecture into development, joining HUB in 2022. There, I worked across a varied portfolio including the delivery of 488 Build to Rent homes in Leeds, co-living developments in the City of London, hotels in Edinburgh and a town centre masterplan in Maidenhead. It reinforced my belief that successful development extends well beyond the buildings themselves, creating lasting social, economic and environmental benefits for the communities they serve.

Realising my passion lies in creating places that have a lasting positive impact on the people and communities they serve it led me to Stories. Their ethos was exactly what I had been looking for in balancing all the complexities and challenges in development with a desire to do it with a large underlying purpose. For me, the most rewarding part of development is seeing an idea evolve into a place that makes a positive difference to people's everyday lives.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me experimenting in the kitchen, visiting museums, exploring great architecture or planning my next trip in search of inspiring cities and places.
